Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Legal Assistant/Claims Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our legal and claims departments, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal processes, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Legal Assistance:
  2. Assist legal professionals with case management, document preparation, and legal research.
  3. Organize and maintain legal files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  4. Prepare and draft legal documents under the guidance of attorneys.
  5. Claims Customer Service:
  6. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding claims inquiries and updates.
  7. Provide timely and accurate information to clients on the status of their claims.
  8. Assist clients in navigating the claims process and address any concerns or questions.
  9. Documentation and Record Keeping:
  10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of legal and claims activities.
  11. Prepare and process claim-related documents, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  12. Communication:
  13. Communicate effectively with clients, legal professionals, and internal teams.
  14. Draft clear and concise correspondence related to legal matters and claims.
  15. Research:
  16. Conduct legal and factual research to support legal proceedings and claims resolution.
  17. Stay informed about relevant legal and industry developments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a legal assistant or customer service role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
