One of the top and fastest-growing RV Company’s is looking for a reliable and precise Director of Human Resources to provide leadership and guidance to the organization’s store operators and staff. This position will cover multiple locations in several different states on the East Coast.
THE ROLE:
The Regional Human Resources Director will play a critical role in aligning human resources strategy with the overall goals of Blue Compass RV. This position will oversee the HR operations across multiple locations in the Eastern region, requiring up to 75% travel. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to senior leadership, focusing on staffing, retention, compliance, and employee satisfaction.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Duties/Responsibilities:
Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention, supporting this mission as a strategic operational partner.
Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s HR compliance and strategic needs.
Administers or oversees HR programs, including but not limited to disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training.
Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
Conducts research and analyzes organizational trends, including reports and metrics from the HRIS or talent management system.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews and modifies policies to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies; communicates relevant changes to upper management.
Builds relationships across all levels of the workforce, fostering engagement and communication.
Manages the employee satisfaction process, assessing organizational needs and drivers of employee culture.
Builds collaborative relationships with leadership across the organization, providing HR support and guidance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
Automotive HR experience is a PLUS.
HR Big Box Retail experience is a PLUS.
Minimum of five years of human resource management experience required.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred.
Retail experience preferred.
Experience in managing HR operations across multiple locations is required.
Willingness to travel up to 75%.
