The Project Coordinator will conduct in-office one-on-one supervision with the specialists as well as field supervision to ensure best practices are used, participant-centeredness is exhibited, and quality assurance in grant compliance and implementation is provided. The main function is supporting the outreach team in meeting their goals and ensuring the specialist roles effectively support the Case Managers and the overall team. The Project Coordinator will work to empower low-income Veteran Families in DC and surrounding counties to become stably housed.Responsibilities:Supervise Outreach Specialists in field supervision, in-office case review supervision, and weekly check-insDecision-making authority regarding spending grant funds and implementation of policy and proceduresProvide Quality Assurance of Specialists’ Tracking DocumentsEnsure Specialists' data in HMIS is entered appropriately and timelyFoster empowerment and a team environmentPromote self-care and professional growth amongst the teamCollect feedback from community partners and participants and incorporate it into the programDevelop and manage goals, staff development, and timekeeping of all direct report staffEnsure that staff utilize best practices and exhibit participant-centeredness at all timesCollaborate with external agencies providing services to participantsAssist with mediation of participant crises and grievances when neededMaintain data and collect statistics for tracking purposesAssist with new staff developmentAttend CoC Meetings and Veteran-specific CoC Meetings as neededParticipate in multidisciplinary meetings and regular supervisionDemonstrate empathy and flexibility in responding to participants’ needsAttend professional trainings and conferences as neededPerform all other duties as assignedRequirements:High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in a similar setting preferredValid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicleUnderstanding and/or experience working with VeteransExperience and proficiency with HMIS data entry preferredStrong written and verbal skillsStrong clinical and crisis management skillsAbility to work in a culturally diverse environmentAbility to work well under pressureAbility to work as a team playerStrong organizational skillsPhysical and Environmental Requirements:At least 50% of the time will be spent in an office setting, and up to 50% will be spent working in the field supervising and supporting specialists, working with participants, and attending community events and CoC meetings.Background Checks:The selected candidate will be required to complete and pass background checks specific to contract requirements.Direct Reports:
