ABOUT THE ROLE
Breakaway is the largest independent touring music festival in North America, bringing an unforgettable EDM/pop festival experience to 12 cities across the country. We're looking for a dynamic and motivated Manager of College Ambassadors to build and oversee a team of student ambassadors who will drive awareness, ticket sales, and brand engagement on college campuses. This person will recruit and manage college ambassadors, driving group sales via fraternity / sorority and other social organizations on campus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, train, and manage a network of college ambassadors across key campuses.
- Develop and execute innovative grassroots marketing strategies to drive ticket sales.
- Plan and oversee on-campus activations, influencer collaborations, and social media takeovers to generate buzz for Breakaway.
- Lead ambassador training sessions to ensure brand messaging is consistent and impactful.
- Track and report ambassador performance, providing insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.
- Collaborate with Breakaway’s marketing and partnerships teams to create localized strategies for each market.
- Attend and represent Breakaway at key festival events, ensuring ambassador engagement on-site.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A natural leader who thrives on building and motivating a team.
- Experience in event marketing, brand ambassadorship, or campus promotions.
- Strong understanding of Gen Z culture, music festivals, and social media trends.
- Willingness and ability to travel for key festival events and promotional opportunities. A reasonable estimation is approx. 25% travel.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.
- Excellent communication skills and a knack for creating hype.
- Comfortable working remotely and managing a team across different time zones.
