Job Description :

We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Litigation Associate to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and class actions. The position offers the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, with a combination of remote and in-office work.

Responsibilities :

• Represent clients in complex business litigation cases, from pre-trial preparation to trial and appeals
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents
• Research legal issues and prepare detailed memoranda on case law
• Attend hearings, depositions, and trial proceedings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on case strategy
• Manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
• Provide legal advice to clients and develop case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes

Qualifications :

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the California State Bar
• 2-5 years of experience in business or commercial litigation
• Strong writing, research, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of state and federal court procedures
