Omni Underground is looking for an Estimator who is hungry to find and win underground utility projects. If you know how to track down bid opportunities, get on job boards, drive the bidding process, and secure work, this role is for you! We specialize in dry utilities (HDD & open trench) and wet utilities (sewer, water, storm drain). Your job? Fill our pipeline with the right projects and make sure our crews stay busy. Responsibilities: •
Find Work
– Proactively search for underground utility projects on bidding platforms like
ConstructConnect, Builders Exchange, PlanetBids
, and more. •
Drive the Pipeline
– Stay ahead of upcoming projects, track bid deadlines, and
ensure a steady flow of awarded work . •
Bid Dry & Wet Utilities
– Estimate and submit competitive bids for
dry utilities (HDD & open trench) and wet utilities (sewer, water, storm drain) . •
Build Relationships
– Network with
GCs, municipalities, and developers
to find new opportunities. •
Follow Up & Close
– Track bid status, communicate with clients, and push to
win projects that fit our expertise . Qualifications: •
Estimator experience
in underground utilities, preferably
dry & wet utilities . •
Knowledge of HDD, open trench, sewer, water, and storm drain installation . •
Proficiency with bidding platforms & job boards
(ConstructConnect, PlanetBids, Builders Exchange, etc.). •
Strong communication & negotiation skills
to secure work. •
Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented
—we need a go-getter. Compensation: $27 - $30 hourly
