Booking Coordinator Description:
Part-time/temporary with possibility of extension. The booking coordinator would develop contacts for touring programs and book programs at schools, libraries, and community centers. Booking 5-15 performances per project. 6 month contract. Pay: $2400 (Approximately 20 hours per month) Desired Qualities: Alignment with Fuse’s mission and values. Collaborative team member, open to learning and co-creating. Creative and innovative thinker. Passion for making theatre that matters in the daily lives of our community. If you see yourself in this role, we encourage you to apply. Qualifications: Experience building partnerships with organizations and individuals. Strong attention to detail. Ability to develop and maintain touring contact lists. Technical proficiency in virtual events and meetings. Familiarity with Google Workspace. Multilingual skills are a plus. Training in equity, diversity, inclusion, and access is a plus. Works with the Operations Team to develop performance tours. Book performances for 2025 in the SF East Bay, SF Peninsula, and Lodi. Schedule events in the master calendar. Communicate site details with Stage Manager or Production Manager. Contribute ideas and feedback for appropriate marketing of program events. Assess program for future development. Considered a contractor and will schedule their own time accordingly, unless otherwise indicated. In 2020, Fuse developed our anti-racist principles to help guide our company in expanding opportunities for less represented demographics - specifically BIPOC/GM and LGBTQ individuals. Sparks is a group of artists who act as a “collective artistic director.” Our Operations Team guides the organization and the Board has oversight of financial well-being and long-range planning.
