REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least two to three years of heavy equipment operation experience in the construction industry, with skid steers, front end loaders, excavators and dozers
- Valid, Class A CDL to be able to haul equipment
- Dependable
- Insurable driving record
- Responsible
- Comfortable using smartphone and other technology
- Willing to learn
- Work well in a team environment
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- CDL airbrake and tanker endorsements
- Experience using GPS controls to grade
This position involves a variety of tasks, including some manual labor in the preparation of surfaces for the pouring of concrete or laying asphalt to the cleanup of finished projects. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds may be required in order to complete some tasks. This is a year-round position that does participate in snow removal duties at all hours during the winter months. Work is done outdoors, so must dress for the conditions. Hours average around 50+ during the construction season with several opportunities for overtime.
