Position Overview:

Effy Jewelry is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Seasonal Sales Associates to join our team in Alaska for the summer season. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for fine jewelry and exceptional customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, driving sales, and providing an unforgettable shopping experience.

Effy Jewelry offers a unique opportunity with company-provided shared housing (exclusions apply) and round-trip airfare to and from Alaska.

We are open to candidates outside of Alaska who are located within the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide an outstanding customer experience by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and guiding them through their jewelry purchase.
• Drive sales by demonstrating expert knowledge of Effy’s collections, craftsmanship, and gemstones.
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers to foster repeat business.
• Assist with daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining displays, and processing transactions.
• Stay knowledgeable about current jewelry trends and effectively communicate product details to customers.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet and exceed sales targets.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in jewelry sales.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing customer needs.
• Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to achieve sales targets.
• Must be available for the majority of the season (May–October), but flexible arrangements may be considered.

Compensation:

• $15/hour + commission
• Company-provided shared housing (exclusions apply)
• Round-trip airfare to and from Alaska
