Job Title: Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Location: Hershey, PA (On-Site)
Hours: 20 hours per week, flexible hours as approved
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our growing community solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company. Located in Hershey, PA, this position offers flexible hours, with a total of 20 hours per week (4 hours per day). The successful candidate will assist with daily administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and supporting various departments as needed. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support, managing emails, and responding to inquiries
- Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference calls
- Maintain and organize office documents, both digital and physical, ensuring all files are up-to-date
- Prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed
- Assist with maintaining office supplies and ordering materials
- Support project teams with scheduling and tracking deliverables
- Provide assistance with human resources tasks, such as tracking employee hours and assisting with onboarding paperwork
- Manage internal communications and serve as a liaison between departments
- Assist with community outreach and solar project coordination
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to support the business
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications a plus
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a construction, energy, or technical environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Experience with basic accounting or invoicing is a plus
- Interest or experience in renewable energy or solar projects is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods
- Some light lifting of office supplies and materials may be required
- Must be able to work in a professional office environment
