The offices of Kjar, McKenna and Stockalper, LLP are currently seeking Associate Attorney's -3-5+ years’ experience with medical malpractice, public entities and or civil litigation experience. $5000- SIGN ON BONUSES offered at this time. Overview: Kjar, McKenna & Stockalper, are looking for legal professionals who are interested in insurance defense work that thrive in a high energy, fast paced environment for our
El Segundo office , to practice on one of our specialized teams. We encourage any interested California licensed Attorney, at all experience level to apply. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be able to effectively collaborate with fellow KMS attorneys in the defense of their clients. Qualified candidates will have experience in Civil Litigation and an interest in practicing in one of the following practice areas: Catastrophic injury Medical malpractice Public entity defense Environmental and toxic tort litigation General liability Product liability Professional liability Responsibilities: Independently work with a Partner on team to manage caseload. Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw. Regularly handle and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs. Conduct legal research, handle discovery and analyze medical and employment records. Frequently handle court appearances, depositions and meetings.
