Position Summary:
Growing oil and gas company in Forth Worth, TX is seeking a Director of Operations to lead the implementation of an operational database, oversee daily operations, and ensure regulatory compliance, financial accuracy, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead setup and integration of Quorum software; oversee data migration and onboarding of wells.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Quorum software.
- Serve as primary project manager for operational tasks.
- Develop and enforce SOPs for managing 200+ wells.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and timely completion of permits and reports.
- Track well performance and optimize production.
- Oversee workover and drilling operations.
- Oversee financial reporting and track Lease Operating Expenses (LOEs) and Loss of Statement (LOS) reports.
- Align costs with production outputs for financial efficiency; assist in financial forecasting and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) and EPA standards.
- Manage regulatory tasks within Quorum.
- Prepare reports for state and federal agencies.
- Liaise between executive team and field operations.
- Align stakeholders on company goals and priorities.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in oil and gas drilling/upstream operations.
- Strong project management skills, preferably with Quorum experience.
- Knowledge of oil and gas accounting, production, compliance, and lease management.
- Proven leadership and departmental coordination abilities.
- Technical understanding of production, drilling, and workovers.
- Experience with Texas RRC compliance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
