Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Systems Engineer to join a forward-thinking technology team responsible for content platform solutions. This role involves leading system and tool enhancements that empower internal knowledge-sharing, scale support operations, and enable rich digital content experiences across employee and customer-facing environments.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Product Ownership: Lead the design, development, and implementation of the content platform roadmap, including headless CMS tools and enterprise taxonomy systems. AI Enablement: Oversee the development and launch of AI-driven content assistant tools, including persona setup, integration, training, and communication strategies. Authoring Experiences: Drive the adoption and rollout of visual content creation tools and component libraries to simplify and streamline content development. Project Delivery: Manage the full lifecycle of system and tool changes, ensuring high-quality, timely implementation aligned with strategic objectives. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify pain points, prioritize enhancements, and introduce best practices. Automation & Efficiency: Champion the use of automation tools and workflows to reduce manual processes and boost operational effectiveness. Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with platform vendors to manage the development and launch of new features, resolve bugs, and guide roadmap alignment. Data Governance: Define and implement data integrity strategies, including data cleansing, migration, and governance practices. Industry Awareness: Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Process Optimization: Design and implement future-state business processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Mentorship & Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring junior team members and contributing to the broader technical strategy. System Architecture: Participate in architecture and design reviews, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices. Platform Management: Manage user roles, permissions, and governance frameworks across CMS and taxonomy platforms. Integration Delivery: Configure and deploy marketplace integrations, supporting composable and modular system architecture. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with program managers, engineers, and architects to align strategic goals with technical execution.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
10+ years of experience in enterprise systems implementation, IT consulting, or related technical fields. At least 3 years of hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentstack). Familiarity with structured taxonomy platforms such as Graphite or comparable metadata management tools. Proficiency with visual content authoring tools and building reusable component libraries. Experience implementing low-code/no-code automation solutions within content platforms. Background in researching, designing, and integrating third-party tools from content platform marketplaces. Understanding of content personalization frameworks, including persona-based targeting and A/B testing. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MS/MBA) in a technical or business field preferred. Strong experience designing scalable business solutions and system integrations across enterprise SaaS platforms. Skilled in data modeling, reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau), and developing enterprise-grade dashboards. Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and cross-functional project teams. Effective communicator with a track record of translating technical concepts into actionable business outcomes. Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and strategic thinking with a focus on long-term platform scalability. Expertise in developing data architectures in collaboration with engineering teams.
Compensation range for position is $ 144,000 – 160,000 DOE.
