Our client is looking for a Toolmaker Apprentice to join their growing team. What You’ll Be Doing
As a Toolmaker Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in shaping and assembling high-precision components. Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting blueprints and specifications to execute projects with accuracy.
- Planning and executing machining processes independently with minimal oversight.
- Shaping materials using cutting, drilling, boring, turning, milling, and grinding techniques.
- Ensuring precision and quality using scribers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Collaborating with the team to refine designs and maintain high manufacturing standards.
Must-Haves:
- High school diploma required; vocational training preferred.
- Previous experience in tool and die manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read 2D and 3D drawings.
- Attention to detail for quality assurance and precision measuring.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally handle up to 50 pounds.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Hands-on experience with CNC or manual machining.
- Familiarity with advanced measuring tools and inspection techniques.
