Job Description:
The Trial Prep Attorney will play a key role in assisting legal teams in preparing for trial, ensuring all aspects of case management and courtroom readiness are executed efficiently. Responsibilities include:
• Conducting legal research and drafting trial-related motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Reviewing, analyzing, and organizing discovery materials, depositions, and evidence for trial presentation.
• Assisting in witness preparation, including drafting outlines and coordinating testimony strategies.
• Developing case timelines, trial notebooks, and exhibit lists to support trial proceedings.
• Collaborating with litigation teams on case strategy, legal arguments, and procedural planning.
• Preparing jury instructions, trial binders, and demonstrative exhibits for courtroom use.
• Attending and assisting with pre-trial hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences as needed.
• Coordinating with expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with court procedures and filing requirements.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience reviewing and managing complex discovery materials.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with legal teams.
• Proficiency in legal research platforms, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
