Overview
UnityTec is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) FedMall Project - a critical eCommerce platform for purchasing and logistics. You will work to safeguard and project the program's digital assets, ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity standards, identifying and mitigating risks, and developing a secure environment for users of the FedMall platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a deep understanding of government cybersecurity regulations, and a commitment to maintain the highest standards of security and compliance.
Requirements:
Certification: Approved relevant certification meeting DoD 8570: IAM Level III - CISSP, GSLC, or CISM
Experience: Seven (7) years relevant experience IT experience
Education: BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience.
Security Clearance: Current Secret or Higher
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs routine project tasks of varying levels of complexity applied to specialized Cybersecurity opportunities.
- Provide security engineering support for planning, designing, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems in compliance with DoD and federal standards.
- Integration of electronic processes and methodologies to resolve total system issues, or technology opportunities as they relate to cybersecurity requirements.
- Applies analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of issues pertaining to workflow, organization, and planning.
- Monitor security events and incidents, performing analysis and respond as needed.
- Collaborate with developers, IT staff, and other stakeholders to ensure security is integrated throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and technologies - staying up to date with cybersecurity threats, technologies, and government policies.
- Experience with incident response, and malware analysis.
- Knowledge of scripting languages and automation for security operations.
- Understanding of NIST, FISMA, RMF, and other government standards.
- Computing Environment: ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager (ESM) 5.0 Security Analyst; ArcSight Loggers
- Administration and Operations; HBSS Administrator; HBSS Advanced; McAfee Network Security Platform Administration
- Prior experience supporting the DLA or other DoD programs.
- Knowledge of the FedMall system and its security requirements.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
Note: 25% travel time may be required.
