We are seeking an experienced IT Administrator to support and maintain the technology infrastructure at our Haleyville, AL facility. In this essential on-site role, the individual will provide comprehensive IT support, including desktop troubleshooting, network management, and application security oversight. As the sole IT professional on-site, the administrator will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems. A strong understanding of the NIST cybersecurity framework is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities:
- Desktop Support: Provide hands-on support to end users for desktop-related issues, including hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
- Network Support: Assist with network maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Application Security: Oversee the security of applications, implement patch management, and address any security vulnerabilities.
- NIST Framework: Apply knowledge of the NIST framework to secure and maintain the IT environment.
- IT Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any IT-related issues, ensuring continuous and smooth operations at the facility.
- Proven experience in help desk and desktop support, focusing on troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Strong understanding of network security and application security protocols.
- Familiarity with the NIST cybersecurity framework is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with staff at all levels.
- Previous experience working in a standalone IT role or similar environment.
- Experience with network devices, security systems, and IT infrastructure.
