Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our partner Medical Group's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Missoula, MT. This challenging and rewarding position involves providing expert care to critically ill patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, utilizing your advanced assessment and clinical skills.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor and interpret complex physiological data, including vital signs, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator settings.
Administer medications and treatments, including vasoactive drips and critical care medications, with precision and vigilance.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, fostering a compassionate and healing environment.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, adhering to established protocols and standards.
Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Upon hire: Montana Registered Nurse License
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
Within 90 days of hire:
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course
1 year of Nursing experience, preferably in critical care or a related field.
