Job DetailsJob Details:
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our dynamic team in the Telecom industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our legal department with various administrative and legal tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), Compliance, and regulatory filing procedures. The candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where each day brings new challenges and opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and management of corporate and regulatory filings.
- Conduct thorough KYC and AML procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Prepare, review, and maintain KYC documentation, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in the implementation and management of corporate compliance programs.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal support to various departments within the company.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities as required.
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive and organized system of legal documents and records.
- Support the legal team in the preparation of legal opinions, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the legal department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- Paralegal Certification is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal, preferably in the Engineering industry.
- Solid understanding and experience with KYC, AML, Compliance, and regulatory filings.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong research and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with legal software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
