Job DetailsJob Details:
We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to work closely with our corporate and legal teams on a variety of complex transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private equity and a passion for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. With a focus on delivering high-quality work and providing exceptional support to our team, this role is integral to our company's success.
Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Paralegal, you will:
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents and reports integral to private equity transactions, including fund formation, investments, and exits.
- Conduct due diligence reviews and assist in the management of deal execution processes.
- Liaise with external counsel, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective transaction completion.
- Manage and maintain corporate records, including minute books, corporate filings and other legal documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual reports.
- Provide legal support to the corporate team on various corporate governance and compliance matters.
- Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures to ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal, preferably with private equity experience
- Exceptional knowledge of corporate law and private equity transactions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management.
- Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certified Paralegal or equivalent certification is preferred.
