Our law firm is looking for an attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm’s clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. Responsibilities: • Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs • Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions • Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution • Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings • Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects Qualifications: • Able to work independently while handling multiple files • Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus • Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis) • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed Compensation: $150,000
