Job Responsibilities:
Lead the team, ensuring food is made accurately and delivered to customers in a timely manner.In charge of shifts and delegating tasks.Show exemplary knowledge of the job and excellent customer service.Deal with upset customers/problems with food politely, ensuring customer satisfaction.Accept deliveries, ensuring completeness and correctness or issuing refunds.Communicate with managers/owners about inventory status, delivery timeliness, and low stock items.Check daily petty cash and go to the bank for change if needed.Restock the register nightly for accurate change.Communicate with managers/owners about employees' strengths, weaknesses, and dependability.Manage the break schedule, ensuring timely arrivals and appropriate breaks for employees.Attend management meetings.Communicate new ideas to managers/owners to improve efficiency and safety, including recipe ideas.Assist with interviews, evaluations, and training.Memorize training material and explain health benefits of ingredients and food to customers in an upbeat manner.Keep the front lobby and outside area clean, checking every 15 minutes.Provide excellent customer service, being positive, polite, and informative, including giving accurate wait times.Assist and ring up guests, answer phone calls, and take orders over the phone.Have thorough knowledge of food and recipes, able to follow recipes and prepare food in a timely and sanitary manner.Prep food according to proper procedures.Continuously clean the kitchen and lobby.Put away deliveries and keep everything organized.Wash dishes and put them away.Communicate with other staff to ensure all orders are made correctly and timely.Carry food to customers.Communicate with managers about the schedule, informing them of days off needed in a timely manner.Show up on time and take appropriate breaks.Complete all opening and closing duties.Perform additional tasks requested by your manager.Follow sanitation guidelines.Stock and rotate food.Adhere to safety procedures.Practice cost-cutting measures.Work as a team.Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers.Requirements:Become food certified.Must handle basic computer, POS system; handling cash and credit cards.Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements.Must stand for long periods, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly, and have a sense of urgency.Maintain a clean and work-appropriate personal appearance.Come to work with a positive attitude and work well with others.Leadership abilities.About Vitality Bowls:Vitality Bowls specializes in delicious açaí bowls, a thick blend of the açaí berry topped with organic granola and a selection of superfood ingredients.
