The Audit Department has an immediate opening for a Business Intelligence Analyst, reporting to one of the managers in the department.The Audit Department assists the Bank’s Board of Directors and senior management in the effective discharge of their responsibilities by assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of controls within Bank business areas over financial reporting and other critical operations, effectiveness and efficiency of operations, compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulations, and the adequacy of the Bank’s risk management and governance processes.With supervision, the Business Intelligence Analyst provides research and analysis of business data to identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns of datasets from internal and external sources. Uses analytics and metrics to provide data-driven forecasts. Participates in cross-functional teams and provides data modeling, data analysis, and data validation in support of audits and team or department projects. The analyst supports auditors in the completion of audit work and at times, for training or a business need, may contribute directly to the performance of audit fieldwork outside of an analytic capacity. The analyst will leverage and develop strong analytical, critical thinking, data analysis, communication, and leadership skills to effectively fulfill their duties. Strong written and verbal communication skills will be required to work effectively with peers as well as for handling critical and sensitive interactions with Bank leadership. Excellent technical and analytical skills to evaluate dataStrong attention to detail with a high level of data integrity and accuracyProficient in oral and written communicationProficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint along with various other online applications, as needed for the roleFundamental knowledge of the principles of data collection and analysis, and performance metrics review techniquesAssociate level requires no experience but minimum 3 years of relevant work or equivalent experience required at the Intermediate level.HS diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experienceWhat you will do:

Perform moderately complex modeling, analysis, and validation of data utilizing effective methodologies and toolsProduce data analytic models (including tools for repetitive use), perform ad-hoc queries, and develop reports for distribution to Audit and business managementAssist in the identification of data trends and data issues to contribute to development of recommendations and action plans to improve or achieve business and audit resultsSupport analysis and research activities by ensuring maintenance of clean data sets and gathering, interpreting, and articulating dataConduct research on topics within a specific area of expertise, utilizing statistical research programs and surveys to collect, develop, and analyze qualitative/quantitative dataSupport team development by clearly documenting analysis steps, providing training, and sharing knowledgeMay participate in cross-functional team initiatives and special projectsProvide various levels of analytical support for audit activitiesDiscover the Reason Why So Many People Love It Here!
