Hybrid/Office – Westlake, CAThe RoleThe Logistics Operations Analyst will work to support 3PL Operations, Inbound Logistics and Domestic Transportation in daily reporting, tracking, and analysis. This role will manipulate data related to operational metrics, cost tracking and provide business performance updates. There will also be a component of project support which will require engaging cross functional internal and external teams. The Analyst will be encouraged to provide recommendations on ways to improve and enhance functions. The successful candidate will have a well-rounded administrative skill set and will be comfortable working directly with various managers across Logistics.Your ImpactThe primary functions of this role include but are not limited to:Import Logistics:

Complete daily updates to our internal shipment and freight cost files. Monitor discrepancies and work with vendors and internal teams to understand and correct any issues in the data. Support inbound freight forecasting and analysis on transit times, shipment status, among other. Serve as back up to Sr. Analyst on month end accrual processes and quarterly reporting efforts.Domestic Transportation:

Work with management to develop standardized metrics taken from the Transportation Management System (TMS) platform and BI dashboards. Complete monthly review of Retail & Parcel freight spend and compare against Decker’s GL reporting as needed. Proactively monitor year over year cost trends and transit time performance. Provide feedback on gaps in data and opportunities for improvement.3PL Operations:

Work closely with Supply Chain Manager to support 3PL performance tracking, monitoring inventory and service level management. Support communication around inbound container flow and outbound order visibility. Participate in meetings and provide updates on KPI’s. Support yearly and quarterly budget creation.Assists in other clerical, administrative and special projects functions. This may be invoice processing, PO creation, support other supply chain departments.Who You AreIntermediate to Advanced Excel skills preferred (features: power query, macros, pivot tables, charts, v-lookup)Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and vendorsAbility to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing, with exceptional attention to detailWe’d love to hear from people withKnowledge of logistics, distribution and supply chain concepts and practices; preferably in US retail environmentsTwo to three years of logistics experience, with demonstrated experience creating metrics/reporting.What We'll Give YouCompetitive Pay and Bonuses:

Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
