Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and front-of-house operations during your shift. You will be responsible for managing the daily activities of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service, and that our team is working together to achieve our goals.
Duties
Oversee the preparation and service of all food and beverages during your shift, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled promptly and accurately.
Manage the kitchen and food production, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standard and that all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to.
Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring that all customer queries are answered promptly and that all customer complaints are resolved effectively.
Manage the restaurant's inventory and ordering system, ensuring that we always have the necessary supplies on hand.
Monitor the restaurant's finances during your shift, ensuring that all sales and expenses are accurately recorded.
Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the restaurant.
Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Skills
Proven experience in hospitality management, with a focus on food service.
Strong knowledge of kitchen management and food production processes.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once.
Experience in restaurant management and food service management.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and resolve customer complaints effectively.
