Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the accurate recording, tracking, and analysis of all incoming and outgoing inventory. In this dynamic position, attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining optimal stock levels are paramount.Your key responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle count audits of inventory levels, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective measures. You will collaborate with various departments to forecast demand, ensuring that stock levels align with production requirements and customer demands. With the support of a seasoned team of professionals, you will have the platform to enhance your skills, drive operational excellence, and make a significant impact on our overall business success.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:Train, develop, and continually improve inventory staff, fostering a culture of accountability within the team.Develop and implement robust inventory control measures to ensure the accuracy of inventory counts.Utilize Epicor ERP Software and RF scanners to efficiently organize, maintain, and conduct accurate transactions for inventory and cycle counting.Utilize data to create Ad Hoc reports using Excel and other software, providing valuable insights into inventory trends.Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies hands-on, leveraging Epicor software for root cause analysis and prevention.Maintain the cycle count program, overseeing aspects such as ABC codes, Inventory Postings, Tag Generation, and Metrics.Collaborate with other departments to maintain, optimize, and implement new inventory processes as needed.Create and maintain inventory metrics for management and company reports.Evaluate, maintain, and modify Min-Max stock levels, reorder points, scrap factors, safety stock, etc.Conduct routine counts of tags and parts, providing leadership and support to staff.Ensure the cycle tag quota is met before year-end, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.Lead the planning and scheduling of the year-end annual inventory count.Create and load data into Epicor ERP as needed, ensuring accurate and timely information.Develop and implement protocols for loss mitigation and improve overall inventory accuracies.Work closely with Financial and Inventory auditors, as well as other external parties, ensuring effective communication and cooperation.Identify and lead inventory projects for continuous process improvements as needed.Be on call as needed, providing timely support during critical inventory situations or emergencies.QUALIFICATIONS:EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's degree in supply chain, inventory management, or relevant field preferred.Work Experience3+ years of inventory experience preferred.2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.SkillsAbility to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers for resolution.Sufficient math skills and ability to adapt to circumstances or situations.Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and troubleshoot Inventory related issues.Work Independently with minimum supervision.Forklift experience with certification preferred.3+ years with ERP software experience.Utilize tools for measurements and counting (tape measure, weight & count scales, etc.)An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.Continuous standing and/or walking.Overtime & weekend availability.Moderate physical effort- working frequently with average weights of ten to fifty pounds or continuously with lighter weights.Good eye/hand/foot coordination.Ability to work in cold, hot and/or dusty environment, with noisy conditions.
