Sr. Sales Operations Analyst

As Jon-Don continues to grow, they seek a Senior Sales Op Analyst to support the ongoing strategic sales efforts. Reporting to the Director of Data and Analytics, the Senior Sales Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting sales-related data in an ongoing effort to grow the business. This role will regularly report out to key stakeholders on insights generated from analyses related to sales productivity, sales trends, seller activity and output, account penetration, etc. The development and tracking of key performance indicators will be critical to enhance business understanding and improve decision-making across multiple business units and sales channels. In addition, the Senior Sales Op Analyst will excel at management, development, and improvement of the key processes that support the sales team.

Responsibilities :
Partner with Sales leaders to determine appropriate action items and strategic recommendations based on data and analyses
Produce, automate, and circulate sales management reports using Salesforce and PowerBI, including reports for senior management, sales management, and individual sellers
Analyze sales performance trends and use data to identify opportunities and highlight potential performance gaps; monitor key metrics and raise issues with sales management
Collaborate with Finance to ensure sales reporting and forecasting aligns with overall budget
Conduct sales performance analyses and reporting, territory alignment, and customer profiling and targeting activities
Produce ad-hoc sales performance reports as requested by sales management
Assist in administering sales incentive compensation plans and the goal-setting process
Be an at-cause team player, ready to roll up your sleeves on ad hoc work across the growing business
Qualifications / Skillsets / Requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
Strong computer and software skills, including advanced Excel and Salesforce, and the ability to learn new systems as needed
Creative thinker with the ability to pull insights from the data that can help move the business
Experience organizing and presenting data in PowerBI
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Bachelors or equivalent degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Math, Computer Science, or similar field
3-6 years experience in data analytics
