Job Details:

We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This is a permanent role that offers a unique opportunity to work with a fast-paced startup with strong financial backing from our PE-partner. The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger management. You will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of the organization and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivables, payroll, and treasury.
• Prepare and present financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insight into the company’s financial health.
• Oversee the company’s general ledger and ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Work closely with external auditors during financial and operational audits.
• Develop and implement effective accounting policies and processes to improve financial efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with other department heads to align financial management with company operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree or CPA certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the startup environment.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
