Regional Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager- ManufacturingProvides EHS leadership and technical expertise to Orora Packaging Solutions (OPS) divisions in the Southern California Manufacturing business groups to ensure the protection and safety of OPS co-workers and the environment.Reports to: Director of Manufacturing-Standards and ProcessLocation: Orange County, CA.Travel: 45% Local travel (as needed or as required) - Multi Site responsibilityFSLA: ExemptWhat You’ll be Responsible ForDelivers oversight and guidance to assigned manufacturing plants on all matters related to safety and environmental compliance. Requires in-depth knowledge of safety (Federal and Cal-OSHA) and environmental regulations (hazardous waste, industrial wastewater, storm water, air permitting, EPCRA Tier II) as they apply to manufacturing settings.Oversees environmental compliance efforts for the Southern California manufacturing business.Partners with manufacturing Business Leaders to identify, prioritize and manage EHS risks.Utilizes experience and EHS technical expertise to assist co-workers at all organizational levels with ad hoc problem-solving and issue resolution.Engages in open and honest dialogue with co-workers at all organizational levels in order to encourage a positive safety culture and establish a proactive approach of bringing forward issues, concerns and suggestions.Conducts EHS audits and inspections to monitor safety performance and compliance with standards. Prepares and maintains necessary documentation and reports.Provides and/or coordinates EHS training.Ensures environmental regulatory reports are completed and submitted in an accurate and timely fashion.Oversees incident investigations and partners with cross-functional team members to manage Post-Incident and Worker’s Compensation processes.Collaborates with functional EHS team to develop and continuously improve company EHS policies, procedures and training programs.Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.What We’re Looking ForMinimum Qualifications:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :Bachelor’s degree in a related field5+ years of progressive experience in Safety/Environmental with responsibility for managing environmental compliance programs5+ years working for a Manufacturer or working within a Manufacturing environmentAny equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Proven Knowledge and understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Regulations, Environmental Protection Regulations, Risk Assessment and Management Practices, Workers' Compensation LawExceptional interpersonal and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with business leadersStrong communication skills (oral and written)Must uphold a high sense of integrity feel comfortable holding others to the same standardAbility to drive accountability and deliver results
