This role will require you to be familiar with various in vitro enzymatic systems used in drug metabolism biotransformation studies as well as extraction procedures such as protein precipitation, liquid/liquid extraction (LLE), and solid phase extraction (SPE). In addition, you will be familiar with mass spectrometry fragmentation interpretation, structural elucidation, and data processing requirements needed to characterize metabolites of small molecules. Experience with the biotransformation of peptides, oligonucleotides, and/or intact proteins would be considered highly advantageous.Job DescriptionAs the successful candidate you will plan and execute fit-for-purpose experiments, maintain the laboratory environment/instruments, and support the development of new technologies. You will also be expected to interact with and present your findings in team meetings, document your findings in an electronic notebook, and prepare internal reports.
