Learning Management System Administrator

to work closely with and under the supervision of the LMS Manager to provide expert-level support for course administration and applications to deliver training, education, and other resources.Summary:

C Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Management System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining multiple learning management systems, resolving technical issues, and providing superior help desk functions with a focus on customer service.Responsibilities:

System Administration:

Manage multiple environments such as development, prototype, and production to ensure optimal performance.Resolve technical issues and perform routine system administration tasks such as troubleshooting, assigning user permissions, resetting passwords, setting up new courses, copying existing courses, resetting/restoring courses, and closing or archiving courses.Develop and implement data migration plans between systems and work with data visualization applications like Tableau and Learning Record Store (LRS).Technical Support:

Provide expert-level technical support and perform help desk functions with quick resolution.Manage and maintain custom PHP, 508-compliant, HTML, XML, CSS, SCORM-conformant, CMi5, xAPI asynchronous and synchronous course pages with integrated learning applications.Quality Assurance:

Generate and interpret regular reports on system performance, user engagement, course completions, and training effectiveness.Ensure all LMS content complies with accessibility standards and is optimized for user experience.Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with internal and external customers to gather and verify system requirements.Communicate effectively with team members regarding project status and any issues.Participate in team meetings and provide updates on LMS administration activities.Requirements:

Either:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a field related to information technology and at least two (2) years of progressive applied experience as a systems administrator managing multiple applications while performing superior help desk functions.OR in lieu of a degree, at least five (5) years of relevant work experience working with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard Learn) and managing custom PHP, 508-compliant, HTML, XML, CSS, SCORM-conformant, CMi5, xAPI asynchronous and synchronous course pages.

Current Personnel (Security) Clearance/Eligibility (PCL) at the Secret level.Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing multiple environments and associated processes.Minimum of three (3) years of experience resolving technical issues and performing routine system administration tasks.Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing and performing basic to advanced help desk functions.Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing and implementing data migration plans and working with data visualization applications.Experience generating and interpreting regular reports on system performance, user engagement, course completions, and training effectiveness.Preferred:

Experience with Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) integration with external applications (e.g., Turnitin, ePub, BigBlueButton).Experience testing, enabling, and configuring LMS plug-ins or themes for custom integration.Experience documenting system configurations, integration processes, and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base.Experience developing implementation plans for scheduled maintenance, version updates, feature releases, and security patches.Experience monitoring system performance and reacting to system degradation or unplanned outages.Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Applications.This is not necessarily an all-inclusive list of job-related responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements, or working conditions as indicated by the client.
