Neurology Opportunity in Southern Ohio!PRACTICE INFOLooking for a Neurologist to join busy hospital employed group practice.Anticipated patient census per physician based on past practice experience:Number of patients in office each day, scheduled and walk-ins: 15 including 5 new inpatientNumber of consults per day: varies 2-7 per dayDaily number of EMG's, EEG: 3-5 (EMGs shared with 2 physicians)Any ICU involvement? All consults in ICU requiring neuro eval, mostly STAT consultsNumber of telephone calls per night: varies, 2-3Practice Payor Mix:

Insurance 25%, Medicare 55%, Medicaid 16%, Self-Pay 3%Large Population of Admitting Diagnosis:Back PainParkinson's DiseaseEpilepsyMultiple SclerosisEEG/EMG Dept. at hospital:2 Nicolet digital EEG Machines - approximately 800-1000 tests per yearNicolet - New Viking Quest EMG machine, Feb 2006 - over 300 per yearBENEFITS:General Neurology Opportunity: $236,000 (not yet boarded is 5% less) - additional compensation based on tenure/experienceVacation: 4 weeks plus holidays/sick daysCME/Books & Journals: 5 days and up to 2% of base payOpportunity eligible for:Bonuses: 25% of gross billings in excess of business production plan targetUp to 7% of base income for meeting performance indicators3 year contract also includes:Deferred compensation: 457b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $16,500 year before taxes. No matching.Retirement/Savings Plan: 403b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $16,500 year before taxes under age 50 and $22,000 for over age 50. Medical Center matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay (max of $4,900 and $10,400 respectively)Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving companyMalpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $1,000,000, per claim/$3,000,000, aggregateHealth Insurance: physician pays small premium, deducted from paycheckNon-compete: 70 mile and 2 year non-compete clause. 90 day out clause for either party.Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment)
