Job Description :The State of New Hampshire's Department of Health and Human Services is currently licensed for the use of the Salesforce Platform. Within this licensing there are several communities that have pre-built resources that allow for the rapid development of services available to the Division using a low code, no code maxim. This rapid development will allow the division to provide multiple solutions at no additional licensing cost to individual business units. However, the current lack of skilled salesforce resources prevents the agency from fully utilizing the salesforce platform.Augmenting the current staff with a skilled resource in this role will enable the division to fully utilize the salesforce platform and provide services to state users and the public that currently use resource and/or manually intensive antiquated applications and/or processes for day-to-day business.DHHS is working to develop and deploy an Incident Management System (IMS) for the tracking of incidents such as helpdesk tickets, sentinel events, seclusions & restraints, etc. Program staff and external community users need to be able to input their required information and then the state staff can route the input as needed to provide resolution in a secure, HIPAA compliant reportable database.Responsibilities in this role will relate to the overall development of the Incident Management System in the enterprise Salesforce org according to the requirements and development of data feeds to the DHHS Enterprise Business Solution (EBI) to ensure the data flow captured appropriately to support DHHS EBI where further analysis can occur.Responsibilities:•Leverage Salesforce's dedicated data model: Public Sector Solutions configuration and/or customization to build and deliver Salesforce UX/UI design solutions that meet business requirements.•Design, document, and review detailed design specifications, system specifications, and program specific requirements to create UX/UI design solutions that balance platform capabilities and design solutions to keep with low code/ no code approach.•Strong foundation in the underlying Salesforce Public Sector data model and keeping with a 'Salesforce Public Sector First' approach in mind.•Participates in multiple programming activities and projects adhering to the current SDLC process and common agile practices.•Perform Analysis, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation.•Create UX/UI designs of varying complexity leveraging the Salesforce Public Sector platform that interface with desktop and mobile platforms.•Create integrations using Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the State, including legacy systems.•Code review custom developed code and make necessary technical adjustments and recommendations.•Manage organization-wide defaults, configuring permission sets, establishing role hierarchies, writing workflow rules.•Maintaining the code base and ensuring it remains consistent with the overall application architecture.•Adhere to industry standard practice for ADA access by utilizing Knowledge of WCAG AA standards.•Present, communicate, and document design work to internal teams and key stakeholders.•Design wireframes, prototypes, user flows, interaction prototypes, user personas, storyboards, customer journeys, site maps, and other design specification material.•Experience working with Salesforce's declarative development tools, including Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).•Familiar with front-end web development technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.•Design custom user interfaces for specific business needs, including custom components and lightning web components.•Design user interfaces that are responsive and work well on multiple devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.•Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties through design and experience within design.•Collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders to ensure that the user interface design is implemented correctly and meets business requirements and State User Experience guidelines.•Utilize design tools provided by the State of New Hampshire.•Perform basic platform configuration (objects, fields, page layouts, etc.), creating reports and dashboards, and data management.•Produce estimates of time and resources required to perform various tasks as part of a team. Reviews estimates for accuracy and completeness composed by other team members.•Work as directed by DoIT management to meet DoIT coding standards and best practices and should be familiar with test-driven development and "no code, low code, custom" maxim.•Collaborate with Salesforce administrators on release cycles to deploy new functionality and updates to existing applications, objects, and code.•Align with Salesforce recommended best practices.
