YesDescription of WorkNebraska Public Media, Nebraska's PBS & NPR Stations, seeks a Donor Engagement Specialist to lead the creation and implementation of donor engagement and cultivation plans for donor segments including, new and existing members, sustainers, and the Sports Partners Club. Lead efforts for our Radio Membership Drives, including messaging themes, thank you gifts, and goals. Assist in organizing, implementing and supporting membership efforts with strong emphasis on fundraising support, donor development and cultivation, events and data analysis. Conduct research related to fundraising activities, and identify new annual giving opportunities. Maintains database records and provides exceptional donor relations.

Minimum Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field and one year of experience in business, marketing, communications, nonprofit development, or related field; equivalent education/experience considered. Experience with database systems essential. Experience planning and executing events. Experience must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, oral/written communications, customer service, organizational, attention to detail and fundraising skills. General understanding of data analysis.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in non-profit work environment preferred. Successful special events, fundraising, development, donor research, or comparable experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of public media, especially public radio. Marketing skills and knowledge of Allegiance or equivalent non-profit database software preferred.

NoCommercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre-employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances.
