YesDescription of WorkResponsible for managing the (Interim) Associate Vice Chancellor ( AVC ) calendar-and as determined and delegated by AVC , manage select ASEM directors' calendars-coordinating all university-related travel, making schedule adjustments, and managing associated follow-up arrangements as needed. This position will provide highly skilled professional support for the AVC with communications and project management, in collaboration with ASEM directors. This position will be operating in a faced paced environment. Duties includes proofing special reports, projects, correspondence review, and managing projects. Additionally, position will assist with confidential credentials, correspondence, coordinate high-level external and internal stakeholder activities. This position will administratively make decisions for filtering phone calls, emails, and prioritizing special requests.

Minimum Required QualificationsBachelor's degree plus 2 years' relevant office experience; equivalent education/experience considered. Organizational and multitasking skills essential. Ability to communicate both written and verbally. Extensive experience with Microsoft Suite specifically excel and word. Event planning experience. Ability to manage multiple calendars, scheduling appointments and assisting customers. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.

Preferred QualificationsExperience working with an administrator at a college and/or university preferred. Prior experience with communication and/or marketing. Experience with project management. Familiar with UNL administrative structure and software programs. Advanced communication skills.
