Summary of Position:

Get our employees off to a great start

by handling all systems and non-systems activities related to onboarding new hires, including offer letters, background checks, setup in HR systems, and new hire orientation.

Help us make informed decisions

by managing our HRIS (currently ADP) and all reporting needs.

Help us ensure a safe and

total rewards (Compensation & Benefits) by helping ensure a smooth enrollment process, helping to resolve issues with providers, getting helpful reporting from our brokers, and recommending new benefits based on the needs of our employees.

Help Zero spend its dollars wisely

by creating helpful reports and analysis during our compensation review cycles

Key Responsibilities :

Co-create, manage, and continuously improve the New Hire Onboarding process in partnership with Finance, IT, the Project Management Office (PMO), and FacilitiesServe as our HRIS (currently ADP) expert, including ensuring employees are set up correctly in the HRIS, changes are processed and tracked correctly, and reports are available to inform decision makingManage recruiting sites and coordinate with Marketing on employer branding activitiesManage all HR Compliance Programs

Enable effective Performance Review and Compensation Review cycles by creating user-friendly and effective processes, forms, and reports

Work with Zero's benefit broker on day-to-day benefit related inquiriesHandling EDD claims, benefit auditsHandle and coordinate LOA, FMLA, short/long term disability claims

Required

Education/Experience:

A bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management plus 3+ years working in Human Resources. Experience in tech and/or manufacturing companies is desired.

Skills and Attributes

Proficiency with an HRIS, including ADP

Strong Excel skills

Strong project management, time management, and multi-tasking skills

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Organized with excellent attention to detail

Obsessed with process improvement and helping others

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

Must be able to sit for long periods of time and lift boxes/materials up to 25 pounds.

Other Requirements (if applicable)

SHRM/PHR certifications a plus

CCP classes or certification through World at Work a big plus

Must be able to pass a background check

The salary range for this position is between $85,000 - $95,000 depending on location and experience
