OnBase Systems Administrator

Job Description:As an OnBase Systems Administrator, you will support by administering and maintaining the Hyland OnBase system. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the OnBase application software, database, and hardware, ensuring effective planning and execution of software and hardware upgrades. You will provide daily application administration, monitoring, and maintenance, while also assisting staff in designing, developing, and implementing electronic business processes to streamline operations. This role includes performing planned and emergency maintenance, including during non-business hours, as well as troubleshooting and providing technical support to users.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide timely technical support to end users.Collaborate with other Systems Administrators, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and IT staff.Prioritize daily tasks, live production issues, projects, and customer support requests.Review processes, hardware, and software to ensure they function properly and efficiently, validating technical specifications and infrastructure requirements.Assist with infrastructure architecture planning, setup, and configuration of server hardware and operating systems as needed.Plan and execute software maintenance and upgrades during scheduled off-hours maintenance windows.Design, develop, test, and migrate new project solutions or enhancements to existing solutions across SIT, UAT, and Production environments.Document, evaluate, prioritize, and resolve defects.Respond to and resolve issues during business and off-hours.Monitor system operations and capacity to ensure optimal performance.Create and distribute documentation of system changes or existing processes.Collaborate with the OnBase Support Vendor for technical support.Assist with the discovery and documentation of business requirements for new OnBase solutions.Assist with training subject matter experts on system usage.Communicate system downtime and project deployments to business owners and end users.Understand, maintain, and enhance external integrations within OnBase.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Strong technical support skills and ability to assist end users effectively.Ability to work as part of a collaborative team with multiple IT roles.Excellent task prioritization skills for managing daily tasks, production issues, and projects.Experience in reviewing, validating, and configuring hardware, software, and infrastructure.Proficiency in planning and executing software maintenance and upgrades.Experience in designing, testing, and migrating solutions across various environments (SIT, UAT, Production).Strong troubleshooting and defect resolution skills.Ability to provide technical support during non-business hours as required.Excellent documentation skills for system changes and processes.Knowledge of external integrations within the OnBase system.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $60.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
