Summary You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT) for the IM CUSTOMER SERVICES BRANCH in the ACIO/INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION, CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV. Responsibilities You will develop and update telecommunication (Telecom) standards and policies for the Corona site, validating customer requirements, and reviewing and approving facilities projects for communication requirements. You will perform project Quality Assurance inspections to ensure communications installs are performed properly and meet industry standards and codes and will report deficiencies to the Facilities branch for contract remediation. You will act as the program manager for all telecommunication service programs at the Command and will act as a liaison between Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). You will validate, create, submit, and manage circuit order requests on behalf of the command. You will initiate and manage contractual actions for voice, data, cable and Enhanced Mobile Satellite Service (EMSS) services. You will also serve as the ServiceNow Helpdesk Manager which includes managing a new Field Services section, ticket queue, Service Level Agreement's (SLA's) and customer requirements. You will direct technician taskings, collect metrics, and create workflows. You will perform circuit installs and troubleshooting, schedule outages, assist with systems migration, provide escort services, and manage day-to-day operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For the NT-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Validating customer requirements and performing inspections to manage Telecommunications (Telecom) service programs for an organization. For the NT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Consulting with customers to troubleshoot and address issues for Telecommunications (Telecom) service programs. Education Additional Information This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14, including high grade positions. The NT-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12. Salary Range: NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent): $76,788 - $131,452. NT-05: (GS-13/14 equivalent): $101,121 - $184,725. For the NT-05 Only: The above salary range represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position. Therefore, the salary may be limited to GS-13 Step 10. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.
