The ideal candidate for this role will be a strategic, thoughtful leader who possesses a wide breadth and depth of HR experience.Manage HR for Spencer's & Spirit Halloween's corporate office population, of approximately 700 employeesDirect the corporate talent acquisition function to effectively attract, hire, and onboard the necessary volume and skill set of employees needed for growth in a competitive labor marketOversee the strategy development and administration of company benefits programs, including benefit changes or enhancements, annual enrollment programs and wellness initiatives.Lead employee relations efforts for corporate office and provide advisory oversight to Distribution Center teams, ensuring the timely and professional resolution of all issuesActively mentor and coach HR team members to foster their developmentAssess and improve upon existing processes where appropriate; implement new procedures that can increase organizational efficiency and support growthEEOCMinimum of 10 years of leadership experience in HRBachelor's degree requiredRetail industry experience preferredBroad HR generalist experience across multiple disciplinesProven ability to align HR strategies with business objectives in multi-brand environmentsStrong knowledge of best practices, with the ability to adapt and implementAuthentic, collaborative leader who fosters success and embraces continuous improvementStrategic thinker with both long-term vision and short-term adaptabilityEntrepreneurial mindset, contributing innovative ideas while valuing team inputResults-driven, accountable, and able to execute tasks with urgency
