The successful candidate will also be responsible for aiding in the design, development and the execution of the organization's learning and development curriculum as well as reporting on training needs and results.Facilitate organizational learning and development programs and workshops to associates and managersApply instructional design and adult learning theory to aide in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of learning and development programs which may include instructor led, eLearning and blended learning programsResearch and identify training and educational programs to meet the learning and development needs of the organization based on Spencer's and Spirit Halloween's competencies. Track and report training program usage and evaluate program effectivenessAssess and identify learning and development needs in partnership with the businesses / functions and then determines content to support those needsConducts and/or identifies resources and tools for team development, such as teambuilding sessions and other interventionsCollect feedback on sessions from attendees to use for future improvements to content and presentationAssist with development of playlists and deployment course content within the LMSQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field with a strong passion for developing peopleMinimum of 5 – 7 years of corporate learning and development, HR/OD experience preferredPossess strong critical thinking skillsAbility to analyze data effectively to "tell the story" behind the informationAble to multitask with strong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.) with the ability to convey materials & data in a modern and visual mannerExcellent communicator, both written and verbal, and able to work in a team environmentPossess strong leadership and influence skills to be seen as a partner to the businessOutgoing, high energy, and enjoy frequent interaction with othersBackground in facilitation, instructional design, curriculum development and knowledge of adult learning methods
