Sr Advancement Coordinator

to play a crucial role in fundraising efforts, by maintaining accurate records and ensuring effective communication within the organization. This role plans, organizes, and implements internal, external, and virtual events at Elwyn, as well as support overall advancement activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Leads operations to execute an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, and capital development initiatives supporting short- and long-term organizational revenue objectivesPlans events and develops communications to increase donor engagement. Uses a donor database and software tools to produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goalsLeads planning and solicitation of sponsors for third-party eventsAssist with coordination and execution of event logistics, including but not limited to, room diagrams, set-up and break-down, audio visual needs, catering, event communication, and shippingSource and coordinate vendor relationshipsMaintain and update budget spreadsheets and event timelinesReview and submit invoices for paymentFollowing internal policies and procedures; coordinate and execute contractual agreementsTrack and report event attendance during and after the eventSubmit and coordinate event permits in accordance with location and event requirementsAssist with event marketing and communicationCoordinate post-event activities such as program evaluations/surveys, close-out reports, final participant reports, recommendations for future events, and financial reconciliationsPrepare draft post event summary presentations at the direction of the Director or Special Events and or SVP of Development & CommunicationsManage office mail including scanning all donations and associated documentationPrint, scan, and mail correspondence including gift acknowledgementsAssist with the internal disbursement of donations including coordinating with program and finance staff; following up on reporting and photos; and tracking activityQUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, business or related fields preferred. HS Diploma or GED required.Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in event planning or project managementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organizedAbility to work independently as well as a team memberSuperior time management skills and multi-tasking abilitiesDemonstrated advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointFlexibility to be able to work weekends and evenings for events and activitiesCurrent, valid driver's license in state of residence, three (3) years driving experience, and acceptable driving record
