Wixon is seeking a seasoned
Human Resources Generalist
with strategic and tactical experience to partner with the Human Resources Director in executing strategic initiatives, benefits administration, investigations, 401K audits, HRIS management, and more.
Wixon is a local growing and progressive manufacturer of custom seasoning blends and flavor systems. We have been blending innovation with a passion for service since 1907.
Key Responsibilities for this role include:
Develop relationships and provide cross-department support in a business partner capacitySupport plant management and employees in program administration, employee relations, retention, payroll, safety, training, performance management, compensation and benefits, and workers' compensationAssist with full-cycle recruiting activities, from postings to, managing resource relationships, creating offer letters, background checks, and new hire orientationsOversee all aspects of personnel records and administration of the company's HR systemsAll things benefits-related, from education and administration to eligibility, enrollment, reconciliation, and associated 401 K administrationAssist in developing and implementing human resources programs, policies, procedures, and practices.Oversee all compensation-related services from job evaluations and job descriptions, to conducting salary research, and processing pay adjustmentsConduct employee investigations and make recommendations to the HR Team and/or necessary staffLead HR metrics from data analysis to special projects
Qualifications for this role include:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.3 +years' experience in an HR Generalist Role in a manufacturing environment, highly desiredMS Office Suite, heavy Excel, as well as HR IS and payroll software, ADP a plusKnowledge of EEO, federal and state employment and benefits laws and compliance requirements; PHR or SPHR desiredProven attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
