Our client, a leading business litigation firm in Coral Gables, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated **Business Litigation Paralegal** to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in business litigation, extensive trial experience, and a strong understanding of eDiscovery processes and fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all stages of business litigation cases from inception through trial- Conduct legal research, including case law and statutory research- Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, and motions- Coordinate and manage eDiscovery projects, including data collection, review, and production- Assist in the preparation and organization of trial exhibits, witness lists, and other trial materials- Manage case documents and maintain detailed case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties involved in the litigation process- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary- Track deadlines, manage court filings, and ensure compliance with court rules- Provide general support to attorneys throughout the litigation process
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of business litigation experience required- Proven trial experience, including preparation for and assistance during trials- Strong understanding of eDiscovery fundamentals and familiarity with document review platforms- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure- Proficient in legal research tools and litigation support software- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team- Paralegal certification or degree preferred
