Job Summary Description:
The HR Manager located in Sanford, FL, is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and operational activities supporting the local Business Unit to develop, enhance and execute procedures and policies in alignment with company goals and initiatives.
Essential Job Accountabilities:
Coordinate, lead and direct all HR administrative and operational tasks/initiatives to include: Onboarding (New Hire Processing, E-Verify, I-9 documentation, background checks, drug screens); orientation (introduction of policies, procedures and company culture); off-boarding (exit interviews, COBRA, HIPPA); compensation and benefits (salary adjustments, promotions), training, recruitment (job descriptions and job posting) and HRIS Data accuracy.Collects and analyzes HR data and makes recommendations for improvement.Assist in developing and executing human resources procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business unit.Assist in administering benefits, compensation, employee performance programs, and reward & recognition programs.Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as appropriate to reflect current requirements.Consults with business unit team members regarding HR strategies that support the business unit's business needs.Hands-On Team member who provides full cycle, day-to-day HR support across all levels.Advises and trains managers and supervisors in best employee relations practices and strategies.Serve as the point of contact on fundamental HR issues and questions.Receive, evaluate and respond appropriately to employee concerns.Conduct investigations of complaints and recommend corrective actions.Support management in the development of employees including coaching and mentoring.Stay current with employee relations trends, regulations, and legal requirements.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR, business, Employee Relations, or related field preferred3+ years with a broad-based HR generalist or management background.Experience using HRIS/Payroll Systems, ADP preferred.Collaborative leadership skills.Conflict management and resolution skills.Excellent communication skills, energetic interpersonal skills, and cultural awareness.Must possess strong Integrity, superb personal and professional ethics, and confidentiality.Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude who thinks strategically, and be creative in finding solutions for improvement.Thorough knowledge of HR procedures, policies, and metrics.Must be a strong employee advocate.Technical competence in all traditional HR functions.Demonstrable experience in developing and executing programs that measurably impact positive employee relations.Dedicated self-starter with strong worth ethic who works well in a team environment.Benefits:
