1The Director of Technology oversees the IT department and manages the development and implementation of new systems. Works within the department and with cross-functional businesses and IT partners to develop and provide input on various projects and procedures. Responsible for the management, strategy, and execution of IT infrastructure for the organization. Demonstrates a commitment to the culture and actively supports all initiatives that connect BIG dreams to BIG fun. Serves as a member of the property Leadership Committee.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversees the IT department, including infrastructure and applications.Manages and oversees all stages of the development lifecycle for new projects.Assists the Vice President of Gaming Operations in prioritizing both short and long-term objectives.Maintains existing programs, ensuring necessary updates are made.Oversees maintenance of hardware.Stays current on security risks and ensures corporate security.Oversees helpdesk operations to ensure reported issues are addressed promptly.Oversees technical projects in alignment with organizational goals.Directs the effective delivery of networks, development, and disaster recovery systems and processes.Manages a team, while working closely with management, external vendors, and advisors.Prepares financial budgets and presents proposals for capital projects to senior executives.Researches and recommends new products.Leads efforts to improve IT procedures.Provides BIG Service to internal guests and ensures their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.Develops and maintains professional, trusting, and positive working relationships with managers, supervisors, staff, coworkers, guests, and vendors.Ensures work activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.Works safely, including clearly understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions.Maintains regular attendance at scheduled shift and staff meetings.Maintains professionalism and a friendly and approachable demeanor throughout the workday.Assists with training/mentoring of new Team Members as requested.Maintains all appearance standards in accordance with established uniform and appearance guidelines.Informs manager on duty of any irregularities and unusual situations when they occur.Keeps a friendly, calm, and helpful demeanor in high-stress situations and a continuously fast-paced environment.Is honest in all interactions and displays a high degree of integrity.Works independently with little to no supervision or as part of a team is required.Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Must be 21 years of age or older with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.Must have 3+ years of direct IT experience.Knowledge of O365/M365 - Office Applications, One Drive, Microsoft Teams.Knowledge of information systems, technologies, and applications.Knowledge of Networking - Layer 2 and 3 networking, VLANS, routing, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.Knowledge in basic operation/support of VOIP Phone systems.Knowledge in supporting Point of Sale systems.Knowledge in all phases of PC hardware setup, configuration, and routine support.Knowledge in all phases of desktop system troubleshooting, repair, and problem remediation.Must be proficient in basic systems support of Microsoft Windows 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2022 Server Operating Systems.Must be proficient in the setup and administration of Office 365 Administration - Azure AD/Entra AD sync, Exchange Online, and standard domain administration (GPO's).Must be proficient in support, update and administration of Microsoft desktop operating systems including Windows 10, and Windows 11.Knowledge in use of various virus control software applications, i.e., Sentinel One, Malware Bytes and email filtering.Knowledge in supporting data communications infrastructures and related hardware/software.Knowledge in support and administration of backup/recovery procedures.Skill in system troubleshooting and problem-solving.Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid NH Lottery Commission license.
