JOB SUMMARY:
Provides support to the Director of Operations in overseeing security department staff and daily floor operations of the Lucky Moose. This role will help staff monitor, report and resolve incidents on the floor that involve guests and/or Team Members. The Security Supervisor will aim to implement preventative measures to protect the company from theft, vandalism etc.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:At the direction of the Director of Operations, initiates and investigates issues such as theft, dishonesty, criminal damage etc. and submits required follow-up reports in a timely and accurate manner.Trains and schedules Security Officer staff.Takes on duties of Security Officer when needed.Ensures all potential evidence is recorded, copied, prepared, and delivered to the Surveillance Department for safekeeping.May be required to coordinate random searches of Team Member bags, backpacks, etc. upon departure from the property and in accordance with departmental procedures.Reports any breaches in procedure by team members to Director of Operations and Human Resources as soon as possible.Coordinates key control procedures as necessary.Provides an escort for vendors, technicians and hand pays and is responsible for verifying transactions.Create a welcoming atmosphere, and promptly and professionally address guest feedback to maintain a positive reputation, while regularly reevaluating ways to meet guest’s needs.Ensures work areas are kept clean and all necessary supplies are available.Must remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.KEY SUCCESS INDICATORS:
Must demonstrate the ability to support the daily operations of the security team at the Lucky Moose Casino. Proven track record that demonstrates ability to work with, lead, and motivate Team Members and maintain exceptional guest experience, while representing the company and brand in a positive manner. Highly motivated, organized, ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality are key to this role.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or general education degree required3 years related Security Officer experience required1-3 years Supervisory experience preferredMust be 21 years of age or olderMust pass all required pre-screening and background checks.Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion Policy.Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid NH gaming license.The Lucky Moose Casino is an equal opportunity employer (EOE).
