Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is looking to add to our Workforce and Leadership Development team and has a new opportunity for a Team Lead Digital Learning. This position oversees all aspects of digital learning within the workforce and leadership development department. They serve as administrator for learning systems, and lead the digital learning team in the design, development, and delivery of all asynchronous online training and resources.
This position is eligible to work remotely (8 or less days a month onsite) or hybrid (9 or more days a month onsite) in accordance with our Telecommuting Policy. Applicants must reside in Kansas or Missouri or be willing to relocate as a condition of employment.

Compensation
$93,760 - $111,000Exempt Grade 17Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas offers excellent competitive compensation with the goal of retaining and growing talented team members. The compensation range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive wages that align with the individual's skills, education, experience, and training. The range may vary above or below the stated amounts.
What you’ll do
Leading and developing the digital learning team including eLearning designers and system specialists.Serving as system administrator for the corporate learning management system (LMS), and primary contact for vendors with regard to delivery of training and resources via the LMS.Evaluating relevance and quality of digital trainings and resources provided by learning and development vendor partners.Collaborating with subject matter experts across the company to ensure digital learning offerings are relevant and prioritized.Designing and curating digital learning experiences for employees.
What you need
Required 3-5 years digital learning experience, including but not limited to:
eLearning or asynchronous learning designLearning management system administrationUse of digital learning tools as part of education/training related job role
Required experience in evaluating the effectiveness of projects or programsRequired formal training in instructional design and/or digital learning modalities.Recommended formal education in relevant content including but not limited to organizational leadership, human resources, adult learning, etc.Role is primarily computer based. No heavy lifting required. Must be able to use a computer more than 90% of the time.Instructional design: eLearning and asynchronous online modalitieseLearning authoring tools: audio/video editing, Articulate 360, etc.Tech savviness: ability to troubleshoot system and technology related challengesEvaluation: making data driven decisions regarding relevance, applicability, and effectiveness of learning contentInformation systems: basic understanding of system components, integrations, requirements, testing etc.Leadership: Performance management, coaching and development of direct reports, maintaining healthy team culture
