About this position:

This Human Resource Director reports directly to the Controller. GBLY currently employs +/- 200 team members and growing. The Human Resource Director is responsible for performing and managing all HR functions. This position partners with company management to ensure all company strategies and initiatives are met, oversees recruitment, compliance, benefits administration, compensation, training and employee relations activities to maximize associate resources. Carries out all functions of payroll responsibilities.

You will be responsible for:

Human Resource Administration

Recruitment and Onboarding

Benefits Administration

Payroll Administration

Management or Co-management of 1 FTE

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred

Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, with at least 1 year in a senior or leadership position.

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.

Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Great organization, time management and prioritization

Advanced worksheet skills (Excel, Google Sheets)

Engages in process improvement activities while improving accuracy and efficiency

Effective communication skills; including speaking, writing and active listening

Ability to work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment
