Finance Director

Dubai .What you’ll do:
Partners with Business Unit (BU) GM (RLT GPLM) Leaders deploying the company’s strategic objectives, through providing accurate and relevant management information, sound financial and business advice, and a strong Operations and Commercial finance skill set.Partners with BU and Regional Leaders on especially Operations and Commercial to establish and execute business improvement opportunities / cost efficiencies to maximize key business performance measures; revenue growth, OP, cash flow and working capital efficiency.Full understanding of Operations processes, associated standard cost and variance analysis in order to analyze operational and financial data, investigate variances, identify business drivers / root causes, evaluate their impact on planned objectives, identify mitigating actions and support execution.Proactively drives BU’s Profit Plan (Budget), monthly Forecasts, weekly SCU reports, detailed ACT variance analysis with root causes, identify mitigating actions with relevant stakeholders and support execution. Have a constant overview of the MTD performance and Latest Estimate vs FCST.Controls and maintains adequate product costing systems for valuation and cost estimating activities.Ensures adequacy of all internal controls through the interpret, implement and monitoring of Eaton policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, US & local GAAP financial policies.Proactively drives continuous improvements in financial and business practices.Supervises the Controllership, Shared Service Centre, Tax and other support functions for the BU, ensuring integrity of the financial data and information for accuracy, consistency and transparency.Assures that the business has processes in place to comply with country legal requirements.Leads and develops the Local BU Finance team; builds organizational capability within Finance Function. Creates, promotes and sustains a high performance culture. Continuously raises the performance bar for the finance organization.Provides guidance to the Commercial Team on Pricing, Margins, Costs, Budgets and any financial-related matter.Works with the BU Leadership Team and managers to enhance their understanding of the relationship between performance indicators, decision-making processes and future financial performance.Ability to operate across, and influence within, a complex matrixed global organizational structure.Effectively drives and manages change, challenges the status quo and champions new and innovative ideas.Effectively leverages functional and cross-functional resources to solve problems, improve processes and meet objectives.Works closely and proactively with GEIS EMEA FP&A, GEIS Divisional Finance and other relevant stakeholders to implement standard models and develop strong financial analysis capabilities and deliver high quality data. Ensure strong documentation for Budget assumptions and Budget composition.Proactively work with EMEA FP&A to develop and implement new enhanced models and analysis to support Business, e.g. Product line analysis and Inventory management and capability to utilize the information in the daily Business partnering.Qualifications:
Min Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited institution; MBA preferred.Progressing experience in Accounting/Finance.Experience in a manufacturing environment.Working with Shared Service Centres and working with Regional/Division HQ Required.Skills:
