OverviewThe Vice President of Finance and Human Resources (HR) plays a crucial role in overseeing the company’s Accounting and Finance operations. This position involves collaborating with the accounting and finance team and other business leaders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, effective controls, and comprehensive financial and data analysis—essential for achieving the company’s short- and long-term objectives. Additionally, the VP will head the HR department to ensure compliance with employment laws, maintain a competitive benefits package, and foster a highly appealing company culture.Responsibilities:Collaborate with business leaders to achieve company objectives and develop strategic plans, performing necessary analyses to support sound decision-making.Ensure financial records are accurate, timely, and complete, and communicate results and projections with our parent company.Develop and manage financial and cash flow projections.Oversee the annual audit process.Prepare scheduled and ad hoc financial reports and analyses.Provide HR strategy guidance to enhance employee engagement, recruiting, benefits, and other HR goals.Required Skills:Proven experience leading and motivating an accounting or finance team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to work as a key business partner to other functional leaders.Experience managing an HR function, with a focus on improving hiring practices, turnover rates, and employee engagement.High degree of autonomy and initiative, with a customer-first approach and a knack for solving problems and delivering impactful solutions.Willingness to dive into detailed tasks when necessary.Ability to build/develop a high-performing Accounting, Finance, and HR team, including systems, processes, and analytics.Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving and fast-paced environment.Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Experience managing or working closely with an HR function.Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.Proven strategic thinking and analytical skills to support decision-making.Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Strong mathematical and research skills.Proficiency with Quick Books.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Experience in a dynamic and changing company environment is advantageous.Job Type:
